There is still eleven months left in 2025, so a lot can and will happen in the IT sector. The first month of 2025 is almost done. Trends will fluctuate. and some will just not succeed.
The creator of the Nothing brand, Carl Pei, shared his own top ten predictions for 2025 on his X account.
2025 predictions:
1. Consumers get sick of hearing about AI in smartphones

Pei predicts a shift in consumer attitudes about artificial intelligence, to put it gently. He predicts frustration from the misuse of AI in smartphones, as well as the ongoing challenge of AI-first devices to gain general appeal outside specialized applications.
Foldable cellphones, he believes, will remain a niche market. That isnโt the first time he has dismissed the concept that foldables may suddenly become widespread.
On a larger economic scale, Pei predicts that the United States will enter a โGolden Age,โ while Indiaโs stock market may encounter short-term hurdles before hitting new highs. Europe, on the other hand, is expected to lose further influence.
According to him, Apple will remain a dependable investment, however its performance may vary owing to unfulfilled AI expectations.
Personally, I believe that foldables would be a huge success if they were more affordable. Aside from that, I agree with the dude.
