AnTuTuโs CPU Test
The Dimensity 8400 outperforms the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 (1,654,675) and the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 (1,497,646) in AnTuTuโs CPU test with a score of 1,799,330. Another strength is GPU performance; the Dimensity 8400 outperformed the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 (3116) with a score of 4,086 in 3DMarkโs WildLife Extreme test. The Redmi Turbo 4 outperforms the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 (506,197) and Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 (472,913) in AnTuTuโs GPU test, scoring 658,114.
Regarding Geekbench 6, the Dimensity 8400 scores 1639 on the single-core test and 6500 on the multi-core test. Multi-core performance is superior to those of chipsets such as the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 and Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, which power the Redmi Turbo 3, but single-core performance only marginally improves over the Dimensity 8300 (1548).
While its single-core performance is competitive, it is not as good as that of its nearest Qualcomm competitors. The Dimensity 8400 delivers better multi-core and GPU performance. It outperforms the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 in terms of CPU and GPU performance when compared to previous Qualcomm flagship chipsets, although it is not as good as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. With a reported starting price of EUR 369, the Redmi Turbo 4 is scheduled to launch internationally on January 9 as the POCO X7 Pro. If this pricing is correct, it presents it as a cost-effective, performance-focused smartphone for gamers.
