Jio is boosting its broadband experience by introducing one of the most popular video streaming services.
Jio comes back with a big deal. This time, the telecom giant is including YouTube Premium for free with JioFiber and AirFiber postpaid subscriptions. Those who have been annoyed by the popular video streaming platform’s constant commercials can now enjoy an ad-free, flawless experience.
Jio is providing JioFiber and Jio AirFiber postpaid customers with free access to YouTube Premium for 24 months. This allows people to enjoy YouTube videos without being constantly interrupted by commercials. When someone clicks on a YouTube video, they are presented a 15 to 20-second ad that is typically non-skippable, which detracts from the user experience.
With YouTube Premium, viewers may continue to watch their favourite videos in the background while multitasking or even while the device is turned off. This functionality is beneficial for smartphone users who want to listen to their own playlists or podcasts while going about their day. Furthermore, the premium edition enables users to save videos and watch them offline at their leisure. Most crucially, users will be able to utilise the platform’s music streaming app, YouTube Music, which offers similar features. The subscription can be used on numerous platforms.

Jio hopes to improve the experience of Jio’s broadband and postpaid services by providing YouTube Premium, one of the most popular entertainment subscriptions, at no additional cost. This new deal is aimed at individuals and households who spend a large amount of time on the video-sharing site, whether on their smartphones or smart televisions.
Last August, the platform stated that it would raise the price of YouTube Premium in India. The monthly student plan currently costs Rs 89, the individual plan is Rs 149, and the family plan is Rs 299.
